I became a Blazeman Warrior in honor of my father, who passed away from ALS several years ago. It's also a way to build ALS awareness, while doing what I love! When I roll across the finish line, people ask why - it's an opportunity to tell someone about my father, Jon, and the foundation. When I start complaining or feel I can't go any further in a race, I think about my father and push myself harder.
