My husband, Alan, is an ironman. As we watch past videos of IM, John's story touched us. We watched his parents be so brave and yet supportive knowing what was happening to thier child. As a parent I could relate to the pain and helplessness they must have felt. Because of this, my husband has vowed to raise a significant amount. He does this to honor John and his wonderful parents who keep his dream going. God Bless.

Megan...first, welcome to the Team Blazeman support site...Please, thank you for the most kind words, Mary Ann and I are so appreciative for all that is being done in memory of Jon, our "-blazeman"...words are difficult...this is so close to our hearts, we've learned something...(the kindness of strangers), during Jon's battle with ALS, he made many comments...one is embeded in my spirit, Jon reflected on "kindness"...he said," an act of kindness is never forgotten"...this kindness will be with Mary Ann and I forever...Thank you so much.
In Freedom(from ALS) and with the deepest appreciation,
blazemom and blazedad...jon's mom and dad.
